Emily Medwid

Emily Medwid is an experienced administrative professional and educator with a strong background in customer service and program coordination. Currently serving as an Administrative Assistant at Darien YMCA since July 2012, Emily enhances departmental efficiency and maintains high customer satisfaction. As the Lead Gymnastics Instructor and Event Coordinator, responsibilities include designing and implementing lesson plans for diverse athletes aged 3-16 while collaborating with the Program Director. Previous experience includes roles at Fleet Landing Restaurant & Bar as a Hostess, a Content Creation Summer Intern at Q4Launch, a Retail Sales Associate at The Skinny Dip, and as a Public Relations Intern at STAR, Inc. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the College of Charleston and has completed additional education at Dublin Business School and Darien High School.
