Emily Alexander

Emily Alexander has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries, including food and beverage, packaging, and academic support. Emily currently works at Darigold as a Packaging Development & Equipment Sourcing Manager, where they are responsible for managing sustainability assessment and implementation of materials, coordinating third-party co-manufacturing, and supporting packaging development through cross-functional collaboration. Prior to this, Emily worked at Starbucks as a Senior Sourcing Analyst and Senior Packaging Development Engineer, where they managed various packaging development projects and oversaw the design, testing, and implementation of new packaging for different product offerings. Emily also gained experience as a Packaging Intern at Quaker Oats and Alberto Culver, as well as a Detector Lab Student Aide and ORCBS Student Aide at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory, Michigan State University. Emily's work experience also includes a role as an Academic Tutor at Student-Athlete Support Services, Michigan State University, and a Packaging Intern at Dow AgroSciences.

Emily Alexander obtained a Dual Bachelor's degree in Packaging and Chemistry from Michigan State University, completing their education from 2006 to 2011. In 2022, they began pursuing a Certificate in Storytelling & Content Strategy from the University of Washington, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
