Justin Chapman

Justin Chapman has a diverse work experience in the finance and commodities trading industry. Justin started their career as a Financial Representative Intern at Northwestern Mutual, where they specialized in personal financial planning and insurance writing. Justin then interned as a Client Services Analyst at Clearwater Analytics, analyzing and reconciling daily trades.

After that, Justin joined the Barker Capital Management and Trading Program, where they held multiple roles. As a Sector Analyst, they provided research and was responsible for portfolio risk reporting. As a Portfolio Manager, they managed beta-weighted risk of holdings and maintained high-yield dividend cashflow for the portfolio. Lastly, as the Chief Investment Officer, they led a team and actively managed the University of Idaho endowment portfolio.

Justin then joined ADM as a Merchandiser Trainee, originating soybeans, canola, and oil grade sunflowers. Justin eventually became a Merchandiser, managing physical seed and hedge positions for a canola processing plant.

Currently, Justin is working at Darigold. Justin started as a Merchandiser, responsible for the Bulk Milk Services and Bulk Fluids division. Justin then became the Product Lead for the same division, where they merchandise and traded products across the US. Currently, they hold the role of Senior Trader, focusing on enterprise risk management and trade execution for all dairy commodities, as well as managing the bulk fluids and raw milk business strategy for Darigold.

Justin Chapman attended the University of Idaho from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, with a focus on General Finance. In 2016, they also obtained the Bloomberg Market Concepts certification from Bloomberg LP.
