Maria Berardo -

Maria Berardo is an experienced HR professional with a diverse range of roles and responsibilities. Maria started their career at Aetna in 1996, where they held positions as a Recruiting Manager and later as a Team Leader in Change Management. In 2002, they worked as the Director of Human Resources at SPM-Galeno. Maria joined Microsoft in 2006 and held various roles, including HR Privacy Program Coordinator and Project Manager, HR Business Partner, Global Learning and Development Consultant, and Sr. HR Manager. Maria then moved on to work at Amazon Web Services as an HR Specialist before joining Kaiser Permanente as a Regional HRBP. Maria subsequently worked at CloudMoyo as a Global Sr. Director of HR and Operations and at Luum by HealthEquity as the Head of People and Operations. Currently, they are the Director of HR and Employee Success at Darigold. Maria has extensive experience in HR and has demonstrated expertise in various areas such as operations, employee success, and HR management.

Maria Berardo holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from both the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and Queen's University. Prior to their MBA studies, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Buenos Aires. Maria also holds a Master's degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Universidad del Salvador. In addition to their formal education, Maria has obtained certifications in various topics related to bias, diversity, inclusion, and belonging, including "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences," "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging," "Skills for Inclusive Conversations," and "Unconscious Bias."
