Michael Felkins

Department Lead at Darigold

Michael Felkins has a diverse work experience in the food service industry. Michael started their career in 1988 at Red Robin, where they worked their way up from a line cook to a company back of house trainer. After 4 years of traveling and training new employees, they became the Kitchen Manager at the Everett, WA restaurant. In 1999, they joined The Inn Sports Bar & Grill as a Kitchen Manager and worked there until 2005. Michael then joined Darigold as a Department Lead, where they ensured efficient machine operations and maintained high product quality standards. Throughout their roles, Michael has demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, and quality insurance managers.

Michael Felkins attended Ballard High School from 1986 to 1988, where they obtained a high school degree in General Studies. In addition to their formal education, they have acquired several certifications. These certifications include re-certification as a Forklift Trainer from Raymond Handling Concepts Corporation, completion of classes in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook from TLG Learning, a Sanitation Training Certification from Ecolab, and certification as a Forklift Trainer. Michael also obtained a First Aid / CPR / AED Certificate from Merit Emergency in Issaquah, Wa.
