Gema Barreda

Gema Barreda has over a decade of experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as Department Lead and Projektmanager at Technica Engineering GmbH since January 2015, with expertise in security projects, particularly in MACsec and automotive protocols. Gema has held various positions including Technical Fellow, Project Manager Support, and CAS Architect, demonstrating proficiency in car access technologies and coordination of complex communication systems for premium car manufacturers. Previous experience includes roles as Resident Engineer at Lear Corporation and Project Engineer at Technica Engineering GmbH, focusing on Comfort-Access systems, as well as academic contributions in embedded software development during a thesis at Daimler.
