Mission Co-holder at Dark Matter Labs

Jayne Engle is a highly experienced professional currently serving as a Mission co-holder at Dark Matter Labs and a Co-lead for 7GenCities, a collaborative initiative focused on transformative urban development and environmental stewardship. Engle holds positions as a Futures Fellow for the Future of Canada Project and Senior Fellow at the Agirre Lehendakaria Center, contributing to various projects with UNDP in Eastern Europe. Additionally, Engle is an Adjunct Professor at McGill University and has held an advisory role at Arantzazulab. Previously, Engle was the Director of Cities & Communities at The J.W. McConnell Family Foundation and a Positive Deviant Fellow at the Wolf Willow Institute. Engle's educational background includes a PhD in Urban Planning, Policy, and Design from McGill University, alongside a Master's in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA in Real Estate & Urban Land Studies from Temple University.
