Jonathan Creekmore

Jonathan Creekmore has a diverse work experience. Jonathan is currently working as a Principal Engineer at Dark Sky Technology starting from February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Site Reliability Engineer at Rackspace from January 2019 to February 2023.

Previously, they held multiple roles at Star Lab. From January 2018 to December 2018, they served as the Director of Product Engineering. Before that, they worked as a Principal Software Engineer from July 2015 to December 2017, where one of their notable accomplishments was being one of the principal system designers of Crucible, a secure virtualization platform.

Before joining Star Lab, Jonathan worked at Synapse Wireless, Inc. as a Staff Software Engineer from November 2013 to July 2015. Their responsibilities included research into real-time location system algorithms and creating a board support package and Linux distribution for a new gateway platform.

Jonathan also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Mississippi State University from August 2001 to May 2002, where they designed a nonlinear digital-to-analog converter and received recognition for their research.

Jonathan Creekmore completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Mississippi State University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Later, they pursued a Master of Science in Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, completing their studies there from 2003 to 2005.
