Christine Valdez

Christine Valdez is an experienced professional with a robust background in social work and educational support. Currently serving as a School Social Worker, ESL Program Facilitator, and Community Engagement Manager at Middletown Adult Education since September 2006, Christine has effectively coordinated a broad range of educational, psychological, and behavioral health services. A strong advocate for workforce readiness, Christine has designed comprehensive career guidance programs while also providing individual and group therapy to address non-academic barriers to learning. Additional roles include serving as a COS P Facilitator for Circle of Security and an authorized facilitator for Darkness to Light's Stewards of the Children. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Educational/Instructional Technology from the University of Connecticut, a Master of Social Work from Saint Louis University, and a Bachelor's of Social Work from the University of Wyoming.
