Katie Newton

Katie Newton is a seasoned sales leader with extensive experience in driving global revenue and leading sales teams. Currently serving as Global Head of Sales at Darktrace since February 2015, Katie oversees the company’s revenue generation and has played a pivotal role in establishing Darktrace as the leader in Cyber AI defense. Previous positions include Head of Sales for EMEA and Commercial Director, where Katie led a 20-person sales team and was recognized with the “New Sales Person of the Year” award during an early career as an Account Executive. Katie's professional journey began with a work placement at Oracle, where a data analysis project focused on sales trends and pricing strategies was undertaken. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Management from the University of Bristol, obtained in 2014.
