Selden Wheeler

Selden graduated from Charleston Christian Academy. His desire to enter the work force directly after high school brought him to Darling's where his career began and continues today.

He began as a full time express lube tech where he was able to hone his automotive skills on the job. Selden's desire to improve his skills gained him a promotion to a general line technician. His hard work and continued dedication to learning brought Selden another promotion where he became a transmission technician.

After 24 years as a technician for Darling's Ford VW Audi he decided he would like to become more involved in the day-to-day business of the service department. Beginning as a service writer it wasn't long before Selden was promoted to a team leader position and then to service manager. In this position Darling's wanted him to gain experience at all locations so he worked in this capacity at the Ellsworth location as well as both Bangor locations. Selden has brought all of his automotive and management experience to Darling's Ford VW Audi and Darling's Honda Nissan Volvo and now oversees both service departments as the Service Director of Bangor Operations.
