Stefano Galli currently serves as a Program Manager in the Strategic Technology Office at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) since May 2024. Prior to this, Galli was the Chief Scientist and Senior Manager at Peraton Labs, leading efforts in wireless and optical communications from January 2021 to May 2024. Galli's extensive experience includes roles as a consultant at STR, rapporteur for the International Telecommunication Union's Working Group on Smart Grid communications, and Principal Engineer at Futurewei Technologies, where innovative base station architectures were patented. Additionally, Galli held leadership positions at Enedis, ASSIA, Panasonic, and Telcordia Technologies, contributing to various standards in telecommunications. Galli holds a PhD and MS in Electrical Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma.
