Anat Kahana Hurwitz

Anat Kahana Hurwitz has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Anat is currently serving as the Head of Legal Data at Darrow since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Rabatit Engineering & Consulting as a Senior Analyst from 2020 to 2021, where they led a team of analysts and conducted extensive research in the Cyber and SIGINT domains. Anat also managed R&D projects for clients and participated in national-level efforts.

Before that, Anat served as a Legal Intern at the Israeli Ministry of Justice from 2018 to 2019. Anat also held roles at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they were a Teaching Assistant for Dr. Katya Assaf's courses on Trademarks and a Research Assistant for Prof. Guy Pesach and Dr. Michal Shor-ofri in Intellectual Property.

Anat gained significant experience in data analysis during their time at Israeli Military Intelligence and the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel. At Israeli Military Intelligence, they served as a Data Analyst from 2016 to 2018, where they implemented a core data analysis platform, worked with complex databases, and led the development of a technological training program. Anat'scontributions earned their the prestigious Israel Defence Award in 2018. At the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel, Anat worked as a Data Analyst from 2014 to 2016, conducting research and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes.

Anat's early career included serving as the Head of Department and Network Intelligence Officer at Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200 from 2010 to 2014.

Anat Kahana Hurwitz has a diverse education history. Anat obtained their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. During the same period, Anat also pursued a BSw degree in Social Work at the same university. Following their undergraduate studies, Anat furthered their education by completing a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Commercial Law at Tel Aviv University from 2020 to 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Anat obtained a certification as a Guardian from SafeUP - Women's Safety Net in February 2023.
