Shannon Sewards is the current Director of the Human Research Protection Program at Dartmouth Health, where she provides leadership for the protection of human research participants. Prior to this role, she served as the Director of the Harvard University Area IRB and held various positions within human subjects research protection at University of Washington, Children's Hospital Los Angeles, and Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. Shannon holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from UCLA and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University.
