Karen Hsu Blatman currently serves as the Section Chief of Allergy and Clinical Immunology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock since September 2019. Previously, Karen held the position of Attending Physician at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in the Desensitization Unit from February 2012 to September 2019 and worked as an Instructor of Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital from October 2010 to September 2019. Additional experience includes a role as Staff Physician in Allergy and Inflammation at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in 2011, and a Fellowship in Allergy/Immunology at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine from 2008 to 2010. Karen completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Virginia from June 2005 to June 2008 and earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Iowa from 2000 to 2005, alongside a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1993 to 1997.
