Kiosha Fowlkes currently serves as the Student Director of the Strengthening Educational Access with Dartmouth (SEAD) Program at the Dartmouth Center for Social Impact, mentoring first-generation and low-income high school scholars through the college application process. Kiosha has been an undergraduate research assistant under Professor Kristin Smith at Dartmouth College since March 2022, focusing on racial and gender disparities in labor force exits due to COVID-19, and has co-authored research presented at prominent sociological conferences. In leadership roles as Vice President of the Afro-American Society and Council on Student Organizations Board Member, Kiosha has managed substantial funding allocations for student organizations. Previous experience includes legal internships at Northeast New Jersey Legal Services and Philadelphia Legal Assistance, where Kiosha provided legal guidance and support to clients. Kiosha also has a background in tutoring and supporting individuals experiencing homelessness. Kiosha is pursuing a degree at Dartmouth College, expected to graduate in 2025.
