Paola Montenegro

Paola Montenegro is a Senior Research Scientist at Dartmouth College since July 2023, with prior experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School from April 2019 to July 2023. Paola completed a PhD at Purdue University, focusing on molecular signaling in neurodegenerative diseases, including Parkinson's disease, dementia with Lewy bodies, and schizophrenia, from August 2013 to December 2018. Paola earned a Master's degree in Molecular Genetics and Diagnostics from The University of Nottingham and has a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador. Paola's professional background includes working as a biologist at HG1 from January 2009 to August 2012.
