Ruwan Karunarathna

Ruwan Karunarathna is an experienced accountant currently working at Darwish Trading Company since October 2017. Prior to this role, Ruwan served as a Senior Internal Audit Executive at Metropolitan Group of Companies from November 2014 to March 2017. Ruwan holds a B.Sc. (Special) Degree in Accountancy and Business Finance from Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, obtained from 2009 to 2014. Additionally, Ruwan is pursuing Chartered Business Accounting (CBA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, which began in 2010, and is a pass finalist with the Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka from 2008 to 2010. Ruwan completed educational qualifications at Gurukula College, Kelaniya, from 2005 to 2008.
