Maximilian Böhmer

Maximilian Bloomfield is a co-founder and Chief Operations Officer at VundaHaus, where innovative solutions for externally insulating homes are delivered within two days through automated design and offsite manufacture. Previously, Maximilian participated in Carbon13's venture builder program, leading to the creation of VundaHaus, aimed at transforming houses into zero emission homes and reducing emissions significantly. Maximilian completed a PhD in Materials Science at the University of Cambridge, focusing on novel structural alloys for aerospace applications, and held leadership roles including President of the Cambridge University Triathlon Club and Senior Science and Engineering Champion at the University of Sheffield, promoting STEM education. Additional experience includes intern roles at Ilika plc and conducting independent research on nano-porous materials.
