Seungdong Lee

Dr. Seungdong Lee serves as Chief Architect, Office of CTO for DZS, leading the team responsible for system/software design, development initiatives for global R&D activities, creation/management of intellectual property and decision on technology evolution strategy. Dr. Lee joined DZS in September 2016 in connection with the Merger of Zhone Technologies and DASAN Solutions, where he also served as CTO.

Dr. Lee was a pioneer in implementing MMU-awareness for embedded debugger while he was working for Mentor Graphics ESD. Dr. Lee also played a significant role in proving the viability of embedded Linux as a platform for network operating system before Linux gained wide acceptance and popularity. Dr. Lee also lead IP-DSLAM and ATCA blade development while DASAN was a subsidiary company of Siemens / Nokia Siemens Networks.

Dr. Lee holds a Ph. D from Seoul National University.
