John Furness

John Furness has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. John is currently working as a Senior Product Designer at Dash Hudson since July 2023. Previously, they held positions at TOOLBX, where they served as the Director of Product Design from January 2023 to June 2023 and as a Lead Product Designer from December 2021 to January 2023. Prior to that, they owned and operated Simple Square from January 2001 to December 2021. In 2017, they co-founded Unleash Surf, where they were the Co-Founder and Chief Surf-Work Officer until August 2021, responsible for design, branding, marketing, sales, HR, and financial management. Earlier in their career, they worked as a New Media Engineer at TriFocal Communications from May 2000 to February 2002.

John Furness attended Northern Lights College from 1996 to 1997, where they studied Design Communications. Following this, they enrolled at Georgian College from 1998 to 2000, specializing in Graphic Arts.
