Kristian Hvass

Kristian Hvass is an experienced aviation and business professional with a robust background in airline operations and academic instruction. Currently serving as the Accountable Manager and Manager of Airline Operations at Danish Air Transport since February 2017, Kristian has also been self-employed as a Certified Flight Instructor since June 1999. Previous roles include guest lecturer at Estonian Aviation Academy, economic analyst at Jet Time, and various teaching positions at Copenhagen Business School, where Kristian contributed to the fields of aviation management and business strategy. With a PhD in Strategy from Copenhagen Business School and a Master of Science in International Business Economics from Aalborg University, Kristian brings a wealth of knowledge and practical experience from significant positions within the aviation industry, including managerial roles at Scandinavian Airlines and first officer responsibilities at Continental Express.
