Scott Turnbull

Scott Turnbull is an accomplished technology executive currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Data Friendly Space since March 2024. As the founder of Tech Tavern since June 2021, Scott has been instrumental in providing IT training to enhance workforce capabilities. Previously, Scott held key positions including Executive Director at FIRST Chesapeake, Director Of Technology at Feed More and US Ignite, and IT Project Leader for the County of Henrico. Scott's extensive experience in technology leadership is underscored by strategic roles at the University of Virginia and Emory University, where Scott managed significant technology initiatives and collaborations. Scott holds a B.S. in Microbiology from Kansas State University.
