Lisa Butler

Lisa Butler has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Starting in 2006, they worked as a System Support Team Lead at UnityPoint Health, responsible for managing a team of system support specialists. Lisa then moved on to become a Strategic Analytics Data Analyst, where they developed operational and strategic reporting metrics for UnityPoint Health and its affiliate hospitals and clinics. At the same company, they later took on the role of an Epic Reporting Coordinator, building a repository of strategic and financial reports and dashboards. In 2014, Lisa joined Life Care Services as an IT Manager, Security and Application Support/Information Security Officer, where they developed and maintained the organization's enterprise information security and privacy program. Lisa also managed the daily operations of the IT security team and database application team. In 2017, they joined Bankers Trust as an Assistant Vice President, Information Security and Business Continuity Officer, where they were responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining the enterprise information security and business continuity program. Most recently, Lisa worked at Mom's Meals | A Purfoods Company as an Information Security Officer before joining their current role as Director of Technology Solutions and Chief Information Security Officer at Data Innovations LLC in 2022.

Lisa Butler has a comprehensive education history in the field of computer and information systems security/information assurance. Lisa first attended Des Moines Area Community College from 2017 to 2020, where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Following this, Lisa pursued further education at Upper Iowa University from 2019 to 2022, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance.

In addition to their academic achievements, Lisa has also obtained several certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. In December 2017, they received the Security+ certification from CompTIA. In January 2019, they obtained the CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) certification from DRI International (Disaster Recovery Institute). Finally, in February 2019, Lisa obtained the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA.
