Dan Lesovodski

Dan Lesovodski has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries and roles. Dan currently works as a Mentor at Stanford University since 2023. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Artificial Intelligence at Data Monsters from 2016 onwards. In this role, they led AI initiatives in manufacturing and office operations improvement.

Before joining Data Monsters, Dan was the Founder and CEO of Stratoprint, where they built a digital printing company from scratch and achieved significant growth. Dan held this position from 2013 to 2016.

From 2010 to 2012, Dan served as the Managing Director at Renaissance Insurance. During this time, they led projects in the Financial Department, Operations, and Analytics, implementing process automation and budgeting automation using MS SharePoint Portal.

Prior to that, Dan was the Deputy Director General - IT and Finance at Soglasie Insurance Company from 2007 to 2010. In this role, they oversaw finance, accounting, and IT for the company.

Dan started their career in management consulting, working as a Project Manager in consulting firms from 2004 to 2007. Dan worked on multiple projects in various industries, including pharma, food processing, metal, insurance, manufacturing, and investments, focusing on business intelligence, data warehousing, ETL, budgeting, and financial modeling.

Dan Lesovodski earned a Master's degree in Logistics from Bauman Moscow State Technical University, completing their studies from 1998 to 2004. Aside from their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including "PYTHON FOR DATA SCIENCE: FUNDAMENTALS" from Dataquest.io in January 2020, "Building a Data Science Team," "Managing Data Analysis," and "A Crash Course in Data Science" from John Hopkins University SAIS Online in April 2018, "Machine Learning: Regression" and "Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach" from the University of Washington in March and February 2016 respectively. Additionally, they hold the "DIPIFR" certification from ACCA, and several Salesforce Trailhead badges in Data Management, Data Modeling, Salesforce Platform Basics, and UI Customization.
