Jacob Metcalf

Jacob Metcalf began their work experience in 2012 as the Assistant Director at the Science & Justice Research Center. In 2013, they became a Founding Partner at Ethical Resolve, LLC, a consulting firm dedicated to helping data and tech companies develop internal and external ethics protocols. Since 2014, they have been a Researcher at the Data & Society Research Institute, where they are a co-Principle Investigator on the PERVADE Team.

Jacob Metcalf obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and Biology from Kalamazoo College in 2002. Jacob then attended the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Philosophy in 2010. Jacob also holds a PhD in Philosophy certification.
