Jenna Burrell

Jenna Burrell has worked in various roles in the tech industry since 2001. Jenna began their career at Intel Corporation, where they worked as an Application Concept Developer in People and Practices Research from 2001 to 2007. Jenna then moved to the University of California, Berkeley, where they worked as an Assistant Professor from 2007 to 2011, an Associate Professor from 2011 to 2016, and a Professor from 2016 to 2021. In 2021, they took on the role of Director of Research at the Data & Society Research Institute.

Jenna Burrell received their PhD in Sociology from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) between 2003 and 2007. Jenna received their BA in Computer Science from Cornell University between 1997 and 2001. In 2013, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera.
