Debasish Chaudhuri

Debasish Chaudhuri is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in geographic information systems (GIS) and software development. Currently serving as a Senior GIS Engineer at DVG, Debasish has previously held roles such as Senior Software Developer and GIS Analyst at Trinnex, where tasks included leading spatial application development for various government agencies. Prior to this, Debasish spent over thirteen years at CDMSmith as a Geo-Spatial Information Management Specialist/GIS Application Developer, focusing on GIS databases and applications. Debasish also gained valuable experience as a GIS intern at Syngenta and as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, contributing to significant research projects in GIS and remote sensing. Debasish holds a Ph.D. in Applied Geography from UNC Greensboro and multiple degrees in computer applications and geology from esteemed institutions in Kolkata.
