Jordan Young

Jordan Young, PhD, is a Machine Learning Engineer at Databook with extensive experience in training and validating language models for text classification, summarization, and generation. Previously, Jordan served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Stony Brook University, where they led the laboratory's data pipeline for chemometric analysis and trained CNN models for geologic material classification. Jordan also has experience in policy making as the Policy Action Committee Chair at the Stony Brook University Graduate Student Organization, where they successfully negotiated to save graduate students money in student fees. Throughout their career, Jordan has demonstrated strong technical skills and a commitment to research and advocacy.
