Syed Zafar Naqvi

Syed Zafar Naqvi is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data engineering, analytics, and consulting. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at the World Food Programme since July 2023, Syed also holds roles as a B.I. Reporting and Analytics expert at Nursa™ and a Data Analyst at both Elite Specialty Staffing and databot.io. Syed has a strong background in developing ETL frameworks, database design, and managing data visualization projects across multiple platforms including Tableau and Power BI. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics, Syed's previous positions include Practice Manager at Teradata, where responsibilities included resource and program management, as well as experience as a programmer/analyst in earlier roles.
