Nikita Kamraj

Nikita Kamraj is a Senior Delivery Solutions Engineer in Healthcare and Life Sciences at Databricks since January 2024, following a role as a Data Scientist at Freenome from September 2022 to September 2023. At Freenome, Nikita developed advanced machine learning models for cancer risk prediction, utilizing extensive electronic medical record data. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral researcher position at Caltech (2016-2022), where Nikita led collaborative research efforts and contributed to experimental design for significant astrophysics projects. Earlier research roles include a summer internship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, focusing on solar cell materials, and fellowships at Caltech and Imperial College London, where important contributions to astrophysics research were made.
