Gernot Klein, PhD, currently serves as the Field Chief Data Officer for Central and Northern Europe at Dataiku since 2024. Prior to this role, Gernot was the VP of Data and Analytics at FutureLearn, where responsibilities included defining and executing the data and analytics strategy as part of the Senior Leadership team. Gernot's previous experience includes serving as the Director of Data and Analytics Lead at Accenture, focusing on impactful development initiatives, and as a Project Manager for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, delivering strategies to C-suite and private equity clients. Earlier roles include Senior Associate at OperaSolutions, leading data science teams, and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Society. Gernot holds a Master's degree in Economics from FernUniversität in Hagen and a PhD in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Technische Universität Dresden, along with Executive Education from Kellogg and MIT Sloan School of Management.
