Tom De Smet

Tom De Smet has a varied work experience in the creative field. Tom started their career in 1984 as a Designer at Jetair, and then moved on to work as a Designer at Roularta Media Group from 1986 to 1989. In 1989, they became the Zaakvoerder and later the Creative Director at Magenta creative communication, where they showcased their passion for creativity. In 2019, they joined KIXX I Strategy in Communication as a Creatief directeur. In 2021, they worked as a Freelance conceptual creative - copy and visuals. Currently, they are working as a Freelance Senior Art Director at Dataline Solutions. Throughout their career, Tom has demonstrated their expertise and enthusiasm in the field of creative art direction.

Tom De Smet completed their high school education from Olva Assebroeke, where they earned a Middelbaar degree in Latijn - wetenschappen. This educational journey lasted from 1974 to 1979. Tom then pursued further education at Sint-Lucas Gent from 1980 to 1984, where they obtained an A1 degree in Publi-foto.

In addition to their formal education, Tom De Smet has also obtained certifications. In May 2018, they completed a certification in Behavioural Design from the Behavioural Design Academy. Furthermore, in November 2017, they obtained a Drone Pilot certification from Noordzee Drones.
