Bruce Hoffman has a diverse range of work experience in software development and engineering roles. Bruce started their career in 2000 as a Senior Development Professional at InStep Software, where they led the development of a three-tier customer service application. Bruce then worked at TelePro as a Senior Software Engineer, developing control systems for aluminum production facilities. At Syntellect, Bruce developed and maintained proprietary C/C++ programs for a Customer Interaction Management system. Bruce then joined Navistar Inc as a Sr Vehicle System Optimization Engineer, where they self-taught Matlab programming and led the development of an in-house engineering tool. Bruce worked at Enghouse Interactive as a Senior Software Engineer, developing interfaces with FreeSwitch and integrating products with Microsoft Lync. Bruce had a brief stint at IdeaNova Technologies as a Principal Engineer, exploring web development technologies before realizing their passion for C/C++ programming. Bruce is currently working at Datalogics as a Senior Software Development Engineer II, creating command line tool applications in C/C++ and troubleshooting issues in a legacy codebase.
