Gerret Walczak

Gerret Walczak has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries and roles. Most recently, they joined Datalogics in 2022 as a Cloud Engineering Manager. Prior to that, they worked at CyberlinkASP from 2018 to 2022, where they first served as the Director of IT Operations and then transitioned to the role of IT Cloud Architect.

From 2016 to 2018, Gerret was employed at Applications2U as an IT Systems Architect. Gerret'sresponsibilities included managing hybrid public/private cloud virtualization, utilizing various tools such as Hyper V Manager, Microsoft Failover Cluster, and SQL Failover Cluster, among others.

Before that, they worked as a Data Center Administrator at Vesuvius from 2011 to 2016. Additionally, Gerret served in the School of Computer Science Operations at Carnegie Mellon University in 2011. In 2010, they founded and managed their own business called Tech to the Home.

Gerret'searliest recorded work experience is as a Senior Resident Consultant at ResNet, where they led a 12-person technician team, provided technical support to on-campus residents, and resolved network and computer-related issues from 2005 to 2009.

Gerret Walczak has a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from the State University of New York at Fredonia. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the same institution. In September 2021, Gerret obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
