Ralf Eiling

Ralf Eiling has a comprehensive and diverse work experience in the field of design and user experience. Ralf has held various roles in multiple companies, starting from their most recent position as the Vice President of Design at Datameer since 2014. In this role, they built an efficient design team and implemented UX design processes to enhance the user experience. Prior to this, Ralf worked at Infosys as the Head of User Experience Europe from 2012 to 2014. Ralf successfully managed a team of 90 designers and implemented integrated delivery processes for projects with well-known clients such as Vodafone, DHL, Deutsche Bank, and more.

Before Infosys, Ralf served as a User Experience Designer at Deutsche Telekom in 2011 and as a Lead User Experience Designer at Centrica from 2010 to 2011. In both roles, they contributed to the development of user-centered applications.

Ralf's earlier experiences include working as a Senior User Interaction Designer at Vodafone Global from 2006 to 2009, a Senior Interaction Designer at toca inc. Chicago in 2005, and a Senior Interaction Designer at Smart Design in San Francisco and New York from 2004 to 2005. At Smart Design, they led multiple projects simultaneously and worked with clients such as Microsoft, Bank of America, Cisco Systems, and Starbucks.

Furthermore, Ralf has experience working as a Usability Designer at SAP in 2003, where they provided consultation for enterprise portals and R/3 technologies for clients like Lufthansa and Yahoo!. Ralf also worked as a User Interface Designer at Adobe Systems from 2000 to 2003, where they were involved in designing and researching features and functions for Adobe GoLive and Workgroup Server. Ralf demonstrated strong communication skills by collaborating with R&D teams, product management, and user research departments.

Ralf Eiling obtained their BA degree in Graphics and Product Design from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Dortmund, where they studied from 1989 to 1992. Ralf then pursued further education at HBK Saar, Hochschule der bildenden Künste Saar, where they received a Diplom Designer degree in Industrial Design and Interaction Design, completing their studies from 1990 to 1996.
