Lamia Estatie

Lamia Estatie currently serves as a Subject Matter Expert-Manager at Dataminr, a position held since December 2017, after progressing through various roles including Senior Associate and Product Evangelist. Previously, Lamia worked as a Digital Journalist for BBC Monitoring and as a Broadcast Journalist for BBC News. Earlier experience includes serving as a Temporary Political Officer at the British Embassy in Beirut and a Research Assistant at The Stimson Center. Lamia also interned at the House of Commons and worked as a Research Analyst at the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights. Educational credentials include an MSc in International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science, alongside a BA in Political Studies from the American University of Beirut, and additional studies at prominent institutions like the University of Cambridge and the Hansard Society.
