Song Mei

Song Mei has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. They began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Peking University from September 2010 to May 2012. They then joined the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Research Assistant from September 2012 to December 2017, during which they also worked as a Teaching Assistant from September 2014 to December 2016. In 2018, they joined Topcon Healthcare as a Research Scientist in the field of Medical Imaging, where they worked until January 2022. At Topcon Healthcare, they held roles of increasing responsibility, starting as a Research Scientist and eventually becoming the Head of Analysis and Senior Research Scientist. From January 2022, they joined Dataminr as a Senior Data Scientist.

Song Mei attended Peking University from 2008 to 2012, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Microelectronics. Song then pursued further education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from 2009 to 2012 and a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from 2012 to 2014. Finally, Song Mei completed their education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2012 to 2017.
