Sydney Westrick

Sydney Westrick has a diverse range of work experience. Sydney started their career as a Regional Manager at Global Peace Exchange in 2016. In 2017, they became a Regional Director at The Borgen Project, where they worked until 2018. During their time at The Borgen Project, Sydney gained experience in leadership and regional management. In 2018, they joined Walgreens as a Shift Lead and also took on the role of High School Boy's Freshman Basketball Coach at Edgewood High School. Sydney worked at both positions until 2019. Sydney then served as the Director of Development at Brighter Tanzania Foundation from 2018 to 2019. In 2019, they interned at Rooster Global News Network, where they wrote two published articles for their Cuba magazine and gained experience in research and writing. Finally, they currently work as a News Analyst at Dataminr.

Sydney Westrick attended Birmingham-Southern College from 2011 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International/Global Studies. In September 2019, they obtained a certification in SEO Foundations from LinkedIn.
