Alay Desai

Alay Desai has a strong background in product management and leadership roles. They held positions as VP Product and Marketing at DataPelago, VP/GM of Platform at Very Good Security, Head of Products at Shoreline.io, and Principal Product Manager at both Amazon Web Services and SugarCRM. They have experience driving product strategy, overseeing teams, and launching new features. Alay also served as VP of Products/COO at Zyfin Research and Head/GM of Index and Information Products at BSEIndia. Additionally, they founded and served as CEO of Sukan Infotech. Their early career included roles at Microsoft, where they served as a Group Manager and Director of Business Development, and at Stario Inc., where they were a co-founder and CTO.

Alay Desai holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance & Strategic Management from The Wharton School. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Rutgers University. Their undergraduate studies were focused on Electronics and Communication Engineering, leading to a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree from L.D. College of Engineering.
