Andrey Yegorov

Andrey Yegorov has a diverse work experience in the software industry spanning over two decades. Andrey has held various roles in esteemed companies such as DataStax, The Apache Software Foundation, Facebook, Salesforce, AudienceScience, Microsoft, MetaCommunications, Arcadia, and Typhoon Software.

Andrey is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at DataStax since January 2021. Previously, they served as a Committer at The Apache Software Foundation from February 2018. Andrey also gained experience as a Production Engineer at Facebook from January 2020 to January 2021.

Prior to their time at Facebook, Andrey worked as a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Salesforce from March 2016 to January 2020. Andrey has also held the position of Principal Software Engineer at AudienceScience from June 2012 to February 2016.

Before joining AudienceScience, Andrey worked at Microsoft, where they held the roles of Software Design Engineer II from April 2011 to June 2012, and Software Design Engineer in Test II from February 2008 to April 2011.

Andrey's career began at Typhoon Software as a Test Engineer from March 1996 to July 1999. Andrey later joined Arcadia as a Sr. QA Engineer from July 1999 to April 2000. The earliest entry in their work experience is with MetaCommunications, where they worked as a Lead Test Engineer from April 2000 to January 2008. The position also involved duties in Professional Services as a Senior from January 2004 to December 2004.

Throughout their career, Andrey has gained expertise in various programming languages and tools, including Selenium, Python, JavaScript, T-SQL, Crystal Reports, and AppleScript.

Andrey Yegorov completed their education in 1998, having studied at Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University. During this time, they pursued a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science.
