Arlen Thurber

Arlen Thurber has a diverse work experience spanning several companies.

- From 2014 to the present, Arlen has been working at DataStax, starting as a Software Engineer in Test and later progressing to roles such as IT Innovation Architect and Sr Business & Systems Engineer. In these roles, Arlen has been responsible for various tasks such as systems architecture, user authentication, content publishing, SSO integrations, project management, software development, vendor relations, and tracking/monitoring/alerting/reporting tools. Arlen has also gained expertise in infrastructure management using AWS.

- In 1998, Arlen was the President of Rcane Design, a mysterious and secret design company.

- From 2005 to 2014, Arlen worked at Hobsons, initially as a Web Application Engineer and later as a Sr. Systems Engineer. In these roles, Arlen managed load balancing appliances, handled cloud infrastructure management using AWS, managed data center migrations, maintained email systems, and developed in-house tools for performance measurement and reporting.

- From 2002 to 2004, Arlen worked as a Web Application Engineer at link 11.

Arlen Thurber's education history includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Digital Media from San Jose State University, which was obtained from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, Arlen obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Santa Rosa Junior College, completed between 1998 and 2004.

In addition to formal education, Arlen also obtained several certifications. These include the Automation Pro III Certificate from Workato, obtained in March 2022, and the AI for Business certification from ELVTR, obtained in September 2021. Arlen also holds the Workato Automation Pro I and II Certifications from Workato, obtained in 2020.

Furthermore, Arlen has acquired various certifications from Santa Rosa Junior College, such as the Web Graphic Designer certification obtained in June 2002, the Adobe Certification Training in Photoshop completed in December 2001, the HTML Content Developer certification obtained in June 2001, and the IT Essentials Certification Training received in June 2001.
