Brandon Bordeaux

Brandon Bordeaux has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Brandon started their career in 2000 as a Tactical Aircraft Maintenance Journeyman in the USAF. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a Video Display Repair Specialist at Tweeter. In 2007, they joined ITT Technical Institute as a Network Support Specialist. At ITT Technical Institute, they troubleshooted, diagnosed, and repaired networked clients in a lab environment.

In 2007, Brandon transitioned to McKesson Health Solutions as a Senior Technical Support Engineer. Brandon delivered results-driven problem-solving on software systems, meeting client deadlines and coordinating additional resources when necessary. Brandon also analyzed network traffic using Wireshark to address problems with SSL/TLS, data payload, and application performance. Additionally, they measured database performance using SQL Profiler and Execution Plans.

In 2012, Brandon was promoted to the role of Technical Support Team Lead at McKesson Health Solutions. Brandon held this position until 2017 when they joined Change Healthcare as a Technical Support Team Lead. At Change Healthcare, they supervised a technical support team of seven members and serviced over 4,000 organizations using cloud and on-premise solutions with various integrations. Brandon achieved 90% and above team customer satisfaction by mentoring the team on the best approach to problem-solving and resolving high-profile software problems. Brandon also developed a support incident management application in C# to address issues and prioritize work in a dated CRM user experience.

In 2019, Brandon joined DataStax as a Technical Support Engineer. Brandon subsequently transitioned to the role of Escalation Support Engineer in October 2021.

Brandon Bordeaux has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University. Brandon also holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Network Systems from ITT Technical Institute. In addition to their formal education, Brandon has obtained several certifications in various areas such as Go programming, JVM performance engineering, NoSQL databases, DevOps, Jenkins, Ansible, React.js, YAML, Spring with Spring Boot, Git, and Python programming. The certifications were obtained from institutions such as Udemy, yCrash, LinkedIn, Linux Academy, and Lynda.com between the years 2016 and 2023.
