Chirag Shah

Chirag Shah has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Chirag is currently serving as the Lead Architect Govt and Enterprise for India & SAARC at DataStax since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Dell Technologies from 2019 to 2021 as an Advisory Global Architect.

Chirag also worked at Dell EMC from 2010 to 2019, holding various roles including Advisory Consultant - IT transformation and Advisory Solution Architect. During their tenure, they delivered cloud strategy consulting, datacenter transformation strategy, and developed financial business cases for transformation projects. Chirag also engaged with global electronics conglomerates and financial organizations to provide IT operational transformation and strengthen IT operations.

Before joining Dell EMC, Chirag worked at Symantec as a Sr. Systems Engineer from 2006 to 2010. In this role, they served as a Technical Account Manager, responsible for account strategies, planning, and driving business through account-specific initiatives.

Chirag also had a brief tenure at IBM as a Solution Architect in 2006, and at PCS Technology Ltd. as a Pre Sales - Enterprise Solution professional in 2004. Chirag previously worked as a Business Development Manager - Enterprise Solutions at Ashtech Infotech Pvt Ltd from 2002 to 2004, and as an Asst. Manager - ASP at Omnitech InfoSolutions Ltd. from 2000 to 2002.

Chirag Shah completed an Executive Education Program (EEP) in Technical Leadership Development at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore from 2012 to 2013. Chirag also has a Dip. in Electronics from the Bandra Board of Higher Education from 1991 to 1994.

In terms of additional certifications, Chirag Shah has obtained several certifications. Chirag is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, obtained from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2021. Chirag also holds certifications in Data Center Architect, Enterprise Backup Recovery Specialist, Backup Recovery Solutions Expert Exam for Technology Architects from EMC, IBM - Open System Storage Solution V4 from IBM, Implementation of HP Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA) Solutions from Hewlett-Packard, and Designing and Implementation of HP SAN Solution from Hewlett-Packard.
