Jason Anderson

Jason Anderson has a diverse range of work experience in the legal field. Jason began their career as an Attorney at Carr & Ferrell LLP in 2000 and later joined Howrey LLP as a Partner in 2006. In 2010, they became an Assistant General Counsel at Skype, a role they held until 2014 when they joined DataStax as an Assistant General Counsel. Jason quickly rose through the ranks at DataStax, serving as Deputy General Counsel from 2016 to 2019 before assuming their current role as General Counsel, Vice President, and Corporate Secretary in 2019. Throughout their career, Jason has gained extensive expertise in commercial transactions, IP, corporate, M&A, privacy, litigation, and employment issues.

Jason Anderson attended Santa Clara University School of Law from 1997 to 2000, earning a JD degree. In addition to their legal education, they have obtained several certifications, including being a Licensed Skydiver, obtained in November 2014 from the UNITED STATES PARACHUTE ASSOC INC. Jason also holds the certification of Registered Patent Attorney, obtained from USPTO in February 2010. Furthermore, they are a Private Aircraft Pilot, having obtained this certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in March 2007.
