Ming Luo

Tech Lead at DataStax

Ming Luo's work experience begins in 1999 at Nortel as a Software Architect. They held this position until 2009 when they moved to Ericsson, where they initially worked as a Software Architect before transitioning to a Senior Software Developer role in 2012. During their time at Ericsson, they worked on developing a visual language for highly concurrent Java programming, as well as on DSP C programming for LTE features. In 2017, Ming joined IBM Cloud as a Senior Software Developer and stayed until 2019. In 2019, they co-founded Kafkaesque Technologies Inc. and served as the Head of Engineering until joining Real Time Computer Systems later that year as a Software Developer and Owner. Ming's most recent position is at DataStax, where they have been a Software Engineer since October 2020 and currently serve as a Tech Lead starting from August 2021.

Ming Luo attended the Technical University of Nova Scotia from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor's degree. Their studies focused on specialized training in building binaries.
