Omer Saeed

Omer Saeed has comprehensive work experience in various roles and companies. Omer currently works as a Data Architect at DataStax since 2020. Prior to this, Omer held the position of VP of Product, Marketing Automation at CallidusCloud from February 2014 to April 2019. In this role, they were responsible for setting product direction, managing Agile product development, and creating design and test documents. Before that, they worked at SalesGenius.com, a division of CallidusCloud, where they served as VP of Products and Services from November 2012 to February 2014. Omer expanded the Professional Services team and rebuilt the engineering department during their tenure. Omer also worked at Sophoi as a Senior Director of Engineering from May 2007 to January 2009, managing teams and assisting the sales team with presentations. Omer worked at SAP BusinessObjects as a Technical Manager and Technical Architect from July 2005 to May 2007, where they managed consultants and assisted the sales team. Before that, Omer worked at Epiphany as a Technical Architect, Solutions Architect, and Technical Sales Specialist from July 1999 to June 2005. Omer assisted the sales team, implemented marketing software, and collaborated with IBM. Omer began their career as an Engineering Intern at Excite from June 1995 to May 1999, developing tools and strategies for the search engine.

Omer Saeed holds a BS in Mathematical and Computational Science from Stanford University. Omer also obtained an MS in Statistics from the same institution. Additionally, Omer has attained various certifications including Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) and Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (SCAA) from Salesforce, ITIL Foundation Level from AXELOS Global Best Practice, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) from the Project Management Institute, and Data Science for Executives from the University of California, Berkeley.
