Karen Lalicker

Karen Lalicker has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Karen started their career in 1996 as a System Administrator at CSC, where they learned and maintained an application used to track subcontractor hours. From 1997 to 1998, they worked as a Software Engineer at SAIC, providing maintenance support and implementing solutions for an existing application. Later, in 1998, they became an Instructor in Client/Server Programming at the Computer Learning Center, where they taught courses on database design, SQL, and client/server architecture.

In 1999, Karen joined Northern Virginia Community College as an Instructor in Information Systems Technology. During their time there, they prepared and taught courses on various topics such as database management, data modeling, and Oracle. Karen effectively communicated complex concepts to students with varying levels of computer literacy.

In 2002, Karen worked as an Internet Trainer at WestLake Internet Training, teaching courses on internet technologies like HTML, JavaScript, and graphic design. Karen received outstanding ratings from students for their knowledge and ability to explain information clearly.
