Philip David Flammer has a diverse work experience. Philip David has held the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at both Datava and Colorado School of Mines. At Datava, they have been the CTO since December 2006, while at Colorado School of Mines, they worked as a Research Assistant Professor starting from 2008. Their research focus at the university involved electromagnetic simulation, theoretical and experimental nano-photonics, and plasmonics.

Philip David Flammer has an extensive education history. Philip David began their academic journey in 1996 at the Colorado School of Mines, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics. During their time there, they also simultaneously pursued another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, this time in Mathematics and Computer Science. Flammer completed both degrees in the year 2000.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Flammer continued their education at the Colorado School of Mines, enrolling in a Master of Science (MS) program in Physics. Philip David studied in this program from 2000 to 2001, further enhancing their knowledge and expertise in the field.

To delve deeper into their chosen field, Flammer embarked on a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Physics at the Colorado School of Mines in 2013. Their doctoral studies lasted until 2014, allowing him to conduct advanced research and contribute to the existing body of knowledge in the field.

Through their educational endeavors at the Colorado School of Mines, Flammer demonstrated a firm foundation in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics.
