Nate Balko

Nate Balko serves as the Head of Talent Acquisition for Hourly Talent at Datavant, leading a team of 30 recruiting experts and facilitating over 5,000 hires annually, aligned with Datavant's mission to enhance patient outcomes through improved health data connectivity. Balko is also the Founder/Owner of ArtHaus Detroit. Previous experience includes significant roles at DoorDash, where Balko expanded the Operations Recruiting organization from 2 to 40 staff, and oversaw the scaling of DashMart locations nationwide. Other notable positions include HR Analytics Lead at CenturyLink, and various recruitment and HR roles at Amazon, where Balko achieved over 15,000 hires, significantly reduced hiring times, and led initiatives impacting a vast employee population. Balko holds an MBA from Michigan State University and a BA in Philosophy and Sociology from Washington State University.
